The Theremin is an early electronic musical instrument invented by Leon Theremin in the 1920's. Theremins are played by moving your hands in the proximity of the Theremin's antennae to control pitch and volume.

My work with the Theremin involves routing Theremin sounds through digital sound processors to create Theremin sound loop settings for live solo improvisations. I recently jammed in Australia with my friend Diarmuid, for an afternoon of Theremin and Harmonium music.

When I'm not playing Theremin or sleeping, I'm busy selling books at the MIT Press Bookstore.
