Outline (This Page) Feedback Server and Software SpecsTracing the route you took here, I have an ISDN line from NYNEX, with 24-7 service from Shore Net (my WONDERFUL NEW ISP!) running through a 3Com Impact IQ, through the 230,000bps high speed modem port into a Power Computing 100 (601 PPC, NuBus). The server - we call him Zebulon, after a distant relative named Zebulon Mac - is running Apple's System 7.5.5 with 48MB RAM.Server software includes SoftRouter 4.0 from Vicom multi-homing 11 domains on Zebulon's other volume - Gottfried (another dead relative - Gottfried Claepseddle). Web pages are served via WebStar 2.1 from StarNine, with CountWebula and ClearWay Simple Cache Manager plug-ins. Other internet services include NetPresenz for ftp, Eudora Internet Mail Server, LogDoor from HomeDoor, WWWStat4Mac, Frontier 4.2.1, FileMaker Pro 3.0, ROFM cgi and Timbuktu by Farallon. On my network, I run an Asante hub connected to a 486 Wintel95 homemade box running PCMacLAN (this IS primarily a Mac Network). My other machines include an LC and my daughter's occasionally visiting LCIII, which patch into the Ethernet network via a SCSI adapter from Assante. My workstation is another PowerComputing "clone" - this one a 120 Nubus 601, sys 7.6.1, 56MB RAM, Apple AV card, (3) hard drives, and a SuperMatch 17 inch monitor. The Software I primarily use day-to-day and use to create these pages include: Bare Bones BBEdit, Adobe PhotoShop 4.01 with PhotoGIF and PhotoJPEG, Debabelizer, Adobe Illustrator, GifBuilder, Apple's Make QTVR Panorama 1.0b5, Frontier, Netscape 3.01, VersaTerm Link, Fetch 3.03, The Domains served at my humble abode include:
